Whew.
A nice group of us made that one too. Yay to Linder, Deb, Brenda, Helene, and Gary! (and everyone else who wrote at LEAST that much yesterday)
I believe it's time for the disclaimer.
So as I might have said, I'm starting a brand-new book after not writing new stuff since August, and I'm trying to get back into the mode. My not-so-secret goal is to get back up to my normal writing pace, which is about 800 words a day.
(That may seem like a piddle compared to many of you full-time writers, but I've found with work and masters classes and thesis work and family, that's what I can do. And I still get books written--3 so far--so I'm good with that as an average, most times!)
So today, I'm adding 200 more words, for a grand total of 600 new words today.
Who's with me?

I would love to participate but I'm at work so it's not gonna happen. Tweeting is okay, but writing entire novels while on the clock is generally frowned upon.
I will be a cheerleader, though. GO GO GO!!!
I'm back. What can I say? I'm a glutton for punishment. And thank you for not actually doubling yesterday's goal. Like you, I'm working my way back up gradually.{g}
I'm going to try. I am editing with a group of friends today...however there's always tonight. :)
Joanne: Understood! I do most of my work on lunch hour. :)
Yay Linder! and Go Brenda!
I did it! Stopped (for now) at 625, only because I really do have other things I must do. But yay! And I have a great place to start tomorrow...
Made it to 877, and decided to quit while I was ahead. I've left myself with a big ol' question mark in my head; with any luck, my subconscious will wrestle out the answer before tomorrow.
I've been having fun with the challenges -- thanks for doing this! {s}
Oooh, Linder!! Great job!!
Go eat chocolate!
Phew. 600 words. I had one of the chicklets home today so that was between playtime, snack, lunch, taboganning and other fun girl stuff.
Hope to get a bit more in tonight, we'll see.
Thanks for the push, S!
Great job, everyone!
Still going, but 1300 words so far, of which approximately 1300 are dross. I'm having one of those days when the words just don't feel right.
:( Nothing yesterday. Didn't even see my computer. And now I'm on my way to work. I hope to make up for yesterday by writing at least twelve hundred new words today.
Deb
Helene: Oh, great job doing it with the chicklet!! I usually don't manage that.
Gary: Showoff. :) Just kidding--good job! Even if they're dross, you have something to work with!
DA: Go for it today!
